Governor. Okezie Ikpeazu has led a delegation of Abia Exco to pay the last respect to the departed former Head of Service, Abia State, Late  Sir GodSon Chikezie Adiele whose remains was committed to mother earth at his Country home,Obunku Ndoki, Ukwa East local government.

Governor. Ikpeazu represented by his deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukuwu extolled the great contributions of Sir Adiele who he left an indelible mark in the sands of time.

He said that the state would sadly miss his advice and contributions particularly on issues concerning the civil service and urged all affected by his demise to be consoled by the good life he lived and the impact of his life on anyone that comes across him.

The governor said that death was a necessary end every mortal must pass through at the appointed time and urged the family to sustain his legacy left behind

The Chief Mourner and the Son of the deceased, Mr. Godson Adiele thanked the governor represented by his deputy for the role they play when his late father was life as well thanked everyone that attended his father's burial and prays God for journey mercy back to their respective homes.
