National Assembly: @GovernorIkpeazu Salutes Members

Ahead of the inauguration of the National Assembly today, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, has, on behalf of himself, the Government and people of Abia State, sent a message of goodwill to National Assembly members from Abia State.

The Governor urged the three Senators and eight members of the House of Representatives from the State to be relentless in the pursuit of a legislative agenda that shall put Abia State in the front burner of national discourse, especially in the area of the development of the great potentials and comparative advantage the State has in Small and Medium Enterprises, including our prowess in local manufacturing.

According to press release endorsed by his Chief Press Secretary, Obyebuchi Ememanka, the Governor further tasked them on the need to, irrespective of party lines, join hands with his administration to attract more federal presence to the State as well as the upgrade of existing federal infrastructure with particular reference to those facilities that will support our quest for economic development.

Governor Ikpeazu finally assures the Federal Parliamentarians of his prayers, and cooperation, and those of the entire people of the State as they take their seats in the hallowed Chambers of the National Assembly and wished them a successful Inauguration Day.
