JUDICIARY REFORM: @GovernorIkpeazu Receives Report From Committee.

A seven man committee on the review of findings and recommendations of the 2016 committee on the harmonization and reform  of the Abia state Judiciary system have submitted their report to the state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

Receiving the report, at government house, Umuahia, Dr Ikpeazu assured the committee that their findings  and recommendations would be seriously looked into with a view of implementing it to the letter.

Gov Ikpeazu expressed great pleasure that the Committee which was inaugurated on May 13, 2019 did a thorough job that would enable the government to do the right thing and also improve the state judiciary system.

Represented by his deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, Governor Ikpeazu charged members of the Committee to get ready for greater assignments in future that might be given to them as they have proved to be persons of proven integrity and character.

Earlier in his speech, the chairman of the committee and a Permanent Secretary in the state civil service, Mr. Sam Okwuchi Njoku said that the committee did a thorough job to come up with their findings and recommendations based on the mandate given to them and expressed confidence that their findings and recommendations would enable the government actualize the reasons and objectives behind their setting up.
